Three Recipes For A Perfect Friendsgiving

Thanksgiving is a great holiday, but sometimes you just don’t want to have to deal with your family. Spend some time with friends this year instead and have a Friendsgiving.

These three simple recipes will help you and your friends enjoy a hassle-free Turkey Day.  

Cranberry Harvest Punch

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups orange juice
  • 4 cups grape juice
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • Orange slices for garnish

Directions:

  1. Stir together all the ingredients and serve.

Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 14 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

  1. Spray a 5-6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the macaroni 3 to 4 minutes shy of the package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Place the macaroni in the slow cooker.
  3. Add in the cheeses, sour cream, cream cheese, mayo and seasonings. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour the evaporated milk over the top.
  5. Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring once halfway through the cooking time.
  6. Serve immediately.

Candy Corn Turkey Cookies

Ingredients:

  • Double-Stuf Oreos
  • White frosting
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Candy eyes
  • Candy corn

Directions:

  1. Break a pretzel stick and push the sticks into the oreo to make legs.
  2. Do the same with 5 pieces of candy corn at the top to make feathers.
  3. Use the icing to add 2 candy eyes and a piece of candy corn to make the nose.
