Oktoberfest in Macon

Oktoberfest is Germany’s largest fair and festival. Millions of people travel from around the world to attend the two-week event. And if they can’t make it to Germany, they hold their own festivities. Just Tap’d in Macon held an Oktoberfest celebration on Sept. 29. Traditional polka music was played, people dressed in costumes and there was food and beer. Learn more about the history of Oktoberfest and how Maconites enjoyed the festivities last weekend:
