“Hello my name is Garrett. I’m Garrett. That is my name. I like music. My first instrument was the French horn actually, in sixth grade, and I hated it. So, I moved to the guitar and I’ve loved it ever since. Man, what do I love about the guitar? The sound, the possibilities and the things you can do with the guitar. Like if you’re slapping a beat here, or like doing something here. Making different sounds with the medium, I think. I think the guitar lends itself to a lot of interesting sounds. I like to explore different genres, but I guess one thing I like a lot is jazz and sampling jazz. Putting my own instruments on top of the samples, or just like modifying the samples how I see fit. I recommend it to anybody to pick up music. I think it’s really helpful, just for living.”
