8 Spring Cleaning Hacks

1. One way you can disinfect your sponge is by putting them in the microwave on high for one minute. This trick will make them clean and fresh again. You will also help clean your microwave because the water that is on your sponge is released and moistens the dried on food in your microwave.

2. If you turn on the air-conditioning before dusting, particles that get knocked off from surfaces will go into the filter, leaving you with fresh air to breathe.

3. If you have tons of nasty soap scum, one way to get rid of this is by cutting a grapefruit in half and adding some salt to it. Then, rub the grapefruit around on the areas with the build-up.

4. Is it hard for you to reach tall places to dust but you don’t want to spend the money to get a big dusting broom? Well, all you have to do is get a microfiber cloth and attach it to the end of a broom to get high and hard to reach places.

5. Do you want an awesome way to make sure your clothes come out smelling fresh? Create reusable lavender laundry sponges that can be thrown in with your laundry.

6. A great way to clean your bathroom exhaust vents and other air vents is by turning the air-conditioning on and then using compressed air in a can. You can get rid of dust fast and easy.

7. Want a simple homemade cleaner? Mix white vinegar, peels of citrus fruit of your choice and herbs in a mason jar!

8. When dusting, make sure to get the light bulbs! A lot of the time, people don’t clean them and end up having a dimly lit room because of it.
